History

La Croix-Valmer has its own legend. It was in 312 after J.-C., Emperor Constantin would have had a sight. He has seen a cross stamped by the sign "in hoc signo vinces" which means : through this sign, you will conquer. Nothing has proved the truth about this sight. However, the 16th of April in 1893, in the exact spot where the legend would have take place, a cross has been built.
